Uncertain Destinations
Installation Art
Composed of delicate boats crafted from X-ray images.
These ethereal boats hover in space, each one bearing the weight of intimate personal
stories hidden within the fragments of bones and damaged bodies depicted in the images.
A metaphor for the countless lost souls adrift at sea, their identities obscured by the vastness of the ocean.
Through this artwork, we are confronted with the fragility, uncertainty,
and profound injustice inherent in the migration experience.
Each boat represents a poignant narrative of forced displacement, serving as a testament to the harrowing
journeys undertaken by those seeking refuge and opportunity amidst perilous and inhumane conditions.
