Dance With The Eyes Closed
Acrylic Paint on Paper
"Dance With The Eyes Closed" is a series that captures the essence of internal movement, where black shadows, reddish stains, and small lagoons intertwine in a space of constant transformation.
Unlike my previous works, here the lines and rivers have disappeared, and instead, the shapes float, move, and blend, as if negative experiences —represented by the black stains— were intertwining with others, creating a vibrant dance. This movement symbolizes a process of transformation where painful emotions are not only accepted but become part of a choreography that prevents the negative from taking control.
The small lagoons, as sanctuaries of calm, become the points of balance where emotions can rest, while the red stains act as reminders of challenges, but without letting the pain fully take over.
The work reflects how, even in darkness, emotions can find a way to dance together, transforming and preventing the negative from destroying the internal balance. Back to Projects
